The YES Group is quite simply the greatest collaboration I have ever been involved in. Each day there is and has been for 15 years, so many people taking action to bring us closer together, to grow, contribute and make a difference.
I believe that every time I or one of the amazing people who serve on The YES Group Leadership Team, Crew and more lately the Event Team, make a mindful action towards contributing to this community, that we reach out and enhance the lives of so many. Helping to build a stronger community of people who are peer groups to be proud of and who inspire and help each of us grow, is inspiration itself.
I'm writing this to give you a very quick overview of where I am personally coming from with regard to my energy, to make this event a day that everyone will remember. I have met so many of you on my path and I have learnt so much from you, I recognise that connecting with you is my primary way of learning. Thank you to all of you. I have changed so much and I am eternally grateful because you enable me to be who I truly am.
I think about how I love to sit and watch people grow on the stage. To truly champion personal development, I believe that I have to be congruent and do the work. Or perhaps the way to say this is to love life. Therefore I have chosen to be the MC at our celebration event on the 29th of November. It’s one thing on a practical level that I am very proud of. I have managed to learn to speak from the stage and being the Master of Ceremonies at this special event is important to me. I am certain the 15 Year Anniversary Event will be talked about for many years to come.
Today, I believe we are at a point in personal development where we can afford the time to reflect and take stock. To look at how far we have each come and as an open community, to take a deep breath and smile, have fun and share. And certainly to Celebrate! My good friend and current YES Group chair, Harry Singha is a great champion of celebrating and I'm learning from him about focusing on this daily with gratitude.

We are thought leaders. We have come so far in such a short time, and times are indeed a-changing. I'm delighted that so many people that have travelled this same journey over the years will be there to share this day with each other as well as myself. People are travelling from all around the world to attend. It really is fantastic to think that Tony Robbins’ son will be flying to the UK especially for this event, and will represent the next generation. This truly shows where we are coming from, and where we have reached.
The line up of educators and entertainers spans 20 years of my life. A blessed life that I'm grateful for, not without its challenges, but full of amazing people like you to enable me to move forward and upward. Thank YOU, you know who you are. And if you don't, be sure that you contributed anyway!
During the five years prior to the YES Group, I was in the entertainment industry. Today some of my peers and friends are International superstars in that industry. At the time I had the good fortune to organise events which included such glamour as the End of World Tour Party for the Pet Shop Boys. I plan to bring some of that glamour and excitement to the event on the 29th of November 2008, which I very much hope to share with you.
Make sure that you do not miss your very special YES Group event. I can assure you that it will be the event of this season and straight after, we intend to plan how we will celebrate 20 years of YES Group!
Lastly, I have to say that we are a very open group, and welcome everybody who shares similar values and would like to learn more and develop through education and friendship to create a better life for themselves and those around them, for the greater good.
